'Discover Your Nature'
'A quest for hidden sources in Ireland'
Central to the theme 'discover your hidden nature' is the word inspiration. That which
inspires us to move out of the comfort zone into unknown territory with
confidence.
'To become what we are and to become what we are capable of becoming is
the only end in life' R.L. Stevenson. Therein lies the voyage of
discovery to our own greatness. During the programme each one of you
will be given the opportunity to discover your own talents and sources
of inspiration. You will discover that these as a rule fall together.
The alternate indoor and outdoor activities in
particular contribute to a programme that is lively and worthwhile. As
a previous participant remarked afterwards, "the lively group
discussions together with the outdoor activities in the rugged Irish
countryside were an inspiration in themselves."
The programme contains three themes:
- Intra- and interpersonal development
- Leadership and team development
- Stress management and health maintenance
During the various parts of the programme you will receive a clearer insight into your own particular qualities and talents. The outdoor activites support the work done indoors thus contributing towards greater depth. The combination of indoor and outdoor activities provides an acceleration and, therefore, an increase in the benefit of the personal development.
What can you expect to achieve from this programme?
- To develope greater insight into yourself and others through the understanding of the basic foundations of your personal growth and a well planned performance.
- To learn to communicate as an individual as well as in a team and to achieve your goals.
- To be able to distinguish and appreciate the unique talents of each human being and the value added by the diversity of these gifts.
- To receive tools for your own particular development, in your executive positions and for the maintenance of your wellbeing.
The location
The programme take place in County Kerry in the southeast of Ireland. A region wellknown for its exceptional natural beauty with highland sheep grazing on the mountainsides, goats and rare red stags. The Killarney National Park is a vast nature reserve with mountains and lakes, the typical Irish peat bogs and where many myths and legends live on into the 21st century.
You will discover the love of the Irish for legend and history expressed in their music and ballads. In Kenmare and in the surrounding villages you will see the colourful buildings with many pubs and restaurants. On many an evening the locals, with music instrument under their arms, will gather together in the pubs to down a pint of guiness and in unison burst into instantaneous music. Anyone and everyone can join in.
